My thanks to Greg Moore for sending this photo. It's of Ruby Cooper Cox of the Pleasant Hill community. He says it was taken around 1918 and the man in the photo is James (Laha?).The photo may have been taken after high school graduation. Ruby was the daughter of Marcus and Margaret Cooper and the sister of Lottie Cooper Trimmer. She is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery next to her husband, Wiley Cox.
