Sadie Belton Williams Powell Golden

As a follow-up to the Craghead murder story I want to show you a couple of photos of Sadie that I found in The History of Bryan County. In a few days I'll also be posting the genealogy of Mordecai Golden. Also coming up will be a history of the Braudrick family, recently chosen as Caddo's "Family of the Century". I have photos of a new business and I'll be telling you how you can show your hometown pride by purchasing a Caddo license plate. Stay tuned!

This photo of Sadie was taken in 1911 when she was a student at Kidd-Key College in Sherman, TX.

The family photo was taken in 1907. Sadie would have been about 12. She is shown with her uncle, Ernest Johnston, her brother Pinckney, and her parents, Douglas and Bessie.
