The Caddo Civic and Cemetery Club is searching for the names of all veterans buried in Gethsemane Cemetery. If you have an ancestor who served in any branch of service and is buried in the cemetery please contact the Civic Club at 580-367-2797, send me an email, or click on the comment link below and leave your information. Please try to contact them before September 10. The names will be placed on a memorial that will be erected at the cemetery.

My father, Alex Bates is a WWII Navy veteran and he was a Marine before that.
He is buried with the Crossetts, Roy Downing, etc. He is next to my mother Janice Crossett Downing Bates.

My father, Benny Jack Gordon, (1939-1985) was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran and a bronze medal recipient.
