I recently posted Solomon Goforth's obituary from June 8, 1928 and a family member was kind enough to supply this photo of him, and his wife, Mary Homer.

Hi Judy,I don't know if you remember me.My name is Lois Avery now but was Lois Glass and I used to write to you years ago.I'm on ancestry.com and my tree is Public so if you get on there,I think you'll find I've been busy with the family history for 5 yrs.now.I'm not quite sure about my Chickasaw Ancestry but if you'll help me with the allotment of Mahate-Millie Milton Brown,I think I have it right.She has per the treaty with the Chickasaws an allotment from Treaty of 24 May 1834 and John Goforth,I believe is her husband has a land document #15871,dated 14 Aug 1844 at Pontotoc,Act of Treaty of 24 Aug 1820 Lands in Alabama but in Don Martini's book,"Who's Who Among the Southern Indians has a John Goforth and Mowa,Chickasaw land S22,T3,R3W in Marshall Co.,Miss on 5 April 1836.I just need to know what to do with this informaion in order to get thier Enrollment #s in Chickasaw Rolls.Please,email me at:loisavery24@yahoo.com because I'm not real good with the computer.I'm 61 years old now and have had a mini-stroke since last July and I'm not able to discern which couple belongs to us and maybe my (Sheppard Family Tree)lyafamily on ancestry.com may be some help to you.I found you by chance and probably couldn't find my way back here.Hope to get email from you soon.So good to talk to you again,sorry,I lost touch.My address is:4901 Royal Dr,Ft.Worth,Tx.,76116-phone #(817)501-0698 or (817)731-3386.So glad to see you're still helping so many people and kind as ever as I remembered you,Sincerely,Lois
