Granville Walker died at his home in Sherman Sunday, and was buried in Caddo Cemetery Monday at 4’oclock. Many years ago the deceased was a resident of Caddo, and was known to the older citizens.

Miss Alma Brown was hostess at the meeting of the Kill-Kare bridge club Monday night at the home of Mrs. G.A. Crossett. The Christmas motif was used in the decorations and in the tallies. After three tables of contract, scores for the month were added, and plans for the low score group to entertain the high score group next week were made. A salad course, in keeping with the Christmas decorations, was served the members present.
Sam Swinney, United States Marshall at Muskogee, died in Muskogee early Thursday morning. Mr. Swinney until the past three years lived in Durant, and prior to that time lived in Caddo. He is well known here, being a brother-in-law to Mrs. W.F. Clower of this city.
March 5, 1937
Mrs. Jessie Williams and children of Bokchito were here Monday and Tuesday, having been called here by the death of the former’s brother-in-law, Frank Williams.
Rev. A. J. Ward, pastor of the Baptist church here, was called to Liberty last Tuesday to conduct the funeral service for Mr. Ruben Hicks, 87 years of age, who died last Monday.
