I received the following letter from the Caddo Civic and Cemetery Club:
For Those Who Care About Caddo:
In order to receive a $2500 grant from the Rural Okla. Community Foundation our club must raise $9500 for our Veterans’ Memorial Project. The memorial will consist of a 10’ x 12’ pavilion with benches to be used for small groups, etc., a memorial stone to those who served in our armed forces naming those who died in service, and a memorial stone to the Caddo women who have maintained the cemetery for 103 years.
After careful consideration of the importance of this project and in order to receive the above grant we are asking for voluntary, one-time, tax deductible gifts. Any amount will be deeply appreciated and wisely spent. The club will send you a receipt for the IRS and/or your records.
If you have family or friends buried in our cemetery please consider helping us complete this project for it will most certainly show Caddo’s appreciation for our service men and women as well as provide a convenient site for visitation, services, etc.
Thank you in advance for any help and consideration you give this request.
Sincerely yours,
Members of the Civic and Cemetery Club
