Sometimes I like to look at the "big picture" and find out what the rest of the country was doing during a particular time in Caddo's history. To that end, I have been reading some general history books this week and also checking some online sites. Just as we are affected by state and national events and trends, so were our ancestors. And with Thanksgiving coming up I thought it would be good to let you take a look at a wonderful site that traces the history of food. It's Food Timeline and it covers just about anything and everything you ever wanted to know about food. Also has some old recipes and links to dozens of other sites. Enjoy!
