Heritage Day 2006

The Caddo Community Association met Monday, March 13 to discuss plans for this year’s Heritage Day celebration. The theme for the event, which is scheduled for October 7, will be “The Roaring Twenties”. Honorees in the parade will be descendents of early day Caddo merchants. Pake McIntire will be the featured entertainer.

The CCA is seeking crafters and food vendors for the event. They are especially interested in wood, jewelry, and fabric crafters, and food vendors who sell Indian tacos, roasted corn, funnel cakes, fry bread, or smoked turkey legs.
