I awoke at 4am to the blessed sound of rain. I felt as though I had been holding my breath forever and could finally relax and return to normal. I know the few inches we get today will not be enough for us to "catch up" yet, but they will lessen the fire danger and start to nourish the trees. Perhaps now we can expect a more normal weather pattern, if Oklahoma has such a thing!
